This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our Site or submit a request for home improvement quotes. It also describes the rights available to you under applicable federal and state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and the privacy laws of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, New Hampshire, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, and other states with comprehensive data privacy legislation.
Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Site.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: First name, last name, email address, phone number, and IP address.
- Location Information: ZIP code and general geographic area derived from your ZIP code.
- Project Information: The type of home improvement project you are interested in and any details you provide about your project.
- Internet or Network Activity: Browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited on our Site, and device identifiers.
- Consent Certification: We use TrustedForm to record and certify your express written consent at the time of form submission. This generates a certificate URL that is stored with your lead record as documentation of your consent.
- Inferences: We may draw inferences from the above information to create a profile about your preferences and interests related to home improvement services.
We collect this information directly from you when you submit a quote request, automatically through cookies and tracking technologies as you navigate our Site, and from third-party partners who help us operate our business.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Connect you with licensed, insured home improvement contractors and service providers in your area.
- Respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests for quotes.
- Contact you by phone, email, or text message regarding services you have requested.
- Share your information with our marketing partners and their agents for home improvement-related promotional purposes, as described in Section 4.
- Analyze and improve our Site, services, and user experience.

4. Sharing and Selling Your Information
When you submit a quote request, we share your personal information with home improvement contractors, service providers, and marketing partners listed on our Partner List for the purpose of fulfilling your request and for related promotional and marketing purposes. These partners may contact you by phone, email, or text message regarding home improvement services.
Sale and Sharing of Personal Information: Under the CCPA and similar state laws, sharing personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or in exchange for valuable consideration may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We may share your information with our marketing partners in ways that qualify as a sale or sharing under applicable law. California residents and residents of other states with opt-out rights may opt out of this activity as described in Section 7.
We may also share information with service providers who assist us in operating our Site and conducting our business, provided those parties are contractually obligated to use the information only for the purposes we specify and to maintain appropriate security measures.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under the age of 16.
5. TCPA Consent
By submitting a quote request on our Site, you expressly consent to receive calls, emails, and text messages — including those made using an automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice messages, or AI-generated voice messages — from Homelynk and its partners, their agents, or parties acting on their behalf, at the phone number and email address you provide, even if your number is on a do-not-call registry. You understand that consent is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message or by contacting us at the address below.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your activity on our Site, remember your preferences, and deliver targeted advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info or the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Site.
